About the band

A tight rock band with one mission: a packed dance floor.

On The Rocks is a high-energy Wellington wedding & covers band, based on the Kāpiti Coast. We play right across the greater Wellington region and up into the Manawatū — pubs, clubs, weddings, milestone birthdays, private parties and corporate functions.

Our setlist is like a mixtape your cool older sibling made you in the 90s. We'll ease you in with some chill classics — a bit of Fleetwood Mac, some Eagles — and by the end of the night we'll have you belting out Bon Jovi like you're headlining Wembley.

Fronted by powerhouse vocalist Kylie and backed by a tight rhythm section, we're a crew of experienced musos who live for that moment the floor fills up. Sweet as.

Kylie is the powerhouse out front — the constant at the heart of On The Rocks. From soulful, goosebump ballads to full-tilt rock anthems, she can do it all, and the room follows every time. Big voice, bigger energy, and the knack for getting a crowd singing back.

Backing her is a tight, experienced rhythm section who keep the night driving from the first song to the last.
